About me

Claire Moreno Garden Design

I trained in Garden Design at the ‘Garden Design School’ at Painshill Park in Surrey passing with distinction and have an RHS certificate in Horticulture.

My journey from Project Manager in the Media Industry to Garden Designer started with the  Women’s Farm and Garden Association‘s WRAGS scheme and I was lucky enough to spend a wonderful year training in the extensive gardens of Belmont House near Faversham in Kent under their head gardener Graeme Watts. As well as developing my horticultural knowledge and practical gardening skills, working in their 3 acre walled garden designed by Lady Arabella Lennox-Boyd, taught me to appreciate the difference a beautifully designed garden can make, sparking an interest and passion in design which ultimately lead to me becoming a designer myself.

I combine my knowledge of design and horticulture to create beautiful, practical gardens which will work for my clients, whether they want low maintenance or are passionate plant lovers like myself.

I am fully insured and a pre-registered member of The Society of Garden Designers, the only professional organisation promoting Garden Designers and ethical standards of practice.
